The Story:

Five friends are travelling on the road, they stop by a corn maze in the middle of the night and one suggests walking through it. Eventually this leads to a game of tag where all five friends have split up. However, the five friends have no idea that a psychopath is in the maze as well and decided he too would be playing their game of tag.
The psychopathic killer taunts these friends throughout the maze and watched every move that they make, they soon realize something weird is going on and try to escape the maze, but the killer only lures them further in…

Characters:

The characters in this film are decent, each pretty unique but all of them seem to be attached to each other in one way or another.

The killer is nothing exciting, to me he seems like an angry teenager who hides his face and has done nothing but memorize a corn maze his entire life. There is nothing great about him at all and other than being able to run ridiculously fast he is fairly boring.
The acting is nothing special and neither are the actors themselves.

Gore/Special Effects:

I am disappointed with this, for the amount of killing there is in this movie there is not much gore involved. Considering the amount of throats getting cut and amount of times somebody gets stabbed in general, there is very little gore.
For what effects there are in this movie, they look terrible.
Nothing special here either.

Lasting Appeal:

The movie was generally boring, throughout the first hour and ten minutes or so I really wanted it to just end. The only interesting part of the movie was the end, that’s when it begins to get interesting. However, that’s only about fifteen minutes of the movie that was enjoyable and the rest seemed like garbage to me. I personally would not recommend watching this.

Final Head Count:

Due to it being as boring as I said, the poorly done effects and the lack of gore for a movie like this it doesn’t get a high rating. The only good part of the movie was nearly the end and it wasn’t anything remarkable.
